External Factors Facilitating Quality Certification of Agricultural Products in China: Insights from Cooperatives in the Sichuan Province

Promoting quality certification of agricultural products is a matter the sustainable development agriculture and transformation global agri-food system, cooperatives are an important carrier to achieve above policy goals. However, few scholars have included external resources cooperative behavior in analytical framework from perspective resource embedding. This study combines dependence theory embeddedness theory, based on survey data 230 six counties Sichuan Province, China. paper constructs theoretical analysis government resources, market certification, uses binary Logit regression model empirically correlation between certification. The results show that: (1) Cooperatives do not receive high proportion support, with 30% 47% receiving support respectively; carrying out product was relatively low, about 29.57%. (2) Government significant positive effect improving cooperatives, promotion greater than that government. (3) Mechanism shows promote mainly through regulations inputs, while can jointly play role inputs expectations for certified products.
